My personal challenge on this card was to make a buckle card, but to be able to use either animal on the front pannel, the card had to be bigger than an A2. So, this card is 5"x5".
I was inspired by 3 people: my downline, Heidi Cogle, who made the cutest buckle card last month for her stamp camp; Caroline Stender for a very handsome buckle card; and Qbee for the spectrum ink behind the bear. Thank you, ladies.
The bear is embossed then brayered with spectrum ink and distressed on the edges. For the faux stitching around the more mustard paper, I used the perforating tool on the cutter kit. This was a tip given to us at Regionals in Vancouver, B.C.
This will be a May 07 stamp camp card. Pretty flashy for beginners, but still an easy card.

Very pretty, Susie! I love the choice of spectrum for the image panel - the bear just glows! Great colors on the rest of the card too! This one's a real winner!
